The Daily Mail has spy photos that reveal Russell Crowe in costume as Jor-El in “Man of Steel,” one of which can be seen below.

TELEVISION NEWS

NBC has cancelled “The Playboy Club” after just 3 episodes and has given full season orders for “Whitney” and “Up All Night.” (via TV Guide)

negotiations between Showtime and “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall, over the actor’s salary for the possible next two seasons of the hit show. Hall wants $24 million for the next two season, while Showtime wants to give him $20 million. With Michael C. Hall’s contract up at the end of this season, if a compromise is not made, Dexter could very well end ate the end of this season. (via Deadline)

In more contract negotiation news, Fox and the cast of “The Simpsons” are in negotiations over their contracts and Fox is threatening to cancel the long running show if the actors do not agree to a 45% pay cut. (via TV Guide)
