Fox taps “Eclipse” Director for Daredevil

March 15, 2011

20 Century Fox has tapped “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” Director David Slade to direct the next Daredevil film. The film currently has no writer. This new film in the franchise would enable Fox to keep the film rights from reverting back to Marvel Studios. David Slade was also at one point considered for “The Wolverine,” before Darren Aronofsky was hired, and was hired to direct the, currently shelved, “Justice League: Mortal” before George Miller was brought in. He also directed “30 Days of Night” and “Hard Candy.”
