A villainous telepath, Black Adam, Spider-Man sings, and more in today’s geek news.


Alexander Sarsgaard has been cast in the Green Lantern movie as the telepathic villain, Dr. Hector Hammond. (via The Hollywood Reporter)

Ivan Reitman, director of Ghosbusters 1&2, told MTV that he would be directing the third film in the series.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson told MTV Splash Page that he sttill wants to play Black Adam in a Shazam! film.


Marvel is giving retailers a variant cover edition of Seige #3 if they send Marvel 50 issues of any combination of the following DC Comics titles, Adventure Comics #4, Booster Gold #26, Doom Patrol #4, Justice League of America #39, Outsiders #24, and R.E.B.E.L.S. #10. (via Comic Book Resources)
