Jake’s Holiday Wish List

December 21, 2009

The first of the GNT wish lists, Jake’s Ultimate Holiday Wish List.

Flo TV

This little device is awesome. It’s a small portable television, with a 3.5″ touchscreen, built in speakers, and 5 hours of battery life. The Flo TV also has 24/7 programming so there is never dead air, and with Comedy Central, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, Adult Swim, and many more providing that programming you’ll never be without something to watch. The Flo TV costs $249.99 and comes with the first six months of service free, $14.99 a month after that.

Motorola Droid

This phone is epic. Running the Android Operating System from Google this phone kicks the shit out of the iPhone’s ass. The ability to run multiple apps, apps which by the way don’t have to be approved by Adolf Hitl…I mean Steve Jobs and his Naz…I mean Apples Employees, and its on Verizon, a much better network than AT&T. This phone is just perfect for me and all others who hate Nazis. The Droid is $599.99 is bought directly from Motorola or $199.99 from Verizon with a two year contract.

HP Mini 311

This is the perfect netbook. It has an 11″ screen and comes with either Windows XP or 7. The 311 comes with a NVIDIA ION graphics chip that allows for 1080p video playback and a bit of gaming. Upgrade it with 3 gigs of RAM and 320 gig hard drive and you have a pretty sweet netbook. The HP Mini 311 starts at $399.99.

Flip UltraHD

A small camcoder that can shoot 2 hours of HD video. Sold. It comes with 8GB of internal memory. The video it shoots is 720p 30 frames per second and has a bit rate of 9 Mbps. I mean come on HD camcorder that fits on your pocket, who doesn’t want that. The Flip UltraHD is $199.99.

Tauntaun Sleeping Bag

How can anybody not want this. A sleeping shaped like a tauntaun with a lightsaber zipper. There is nothing more to say really.

Good post here, I really enjoyed it. I saw a review of the HP Mini 210 online. Very educational reading as well. Click here if you’d like to check out my site.
