007, a Lizard, a Martian, and more in today’s geek news.


Daniel Craig recently told fans after a performance of “A Steady Rain,” the Broadway play he is currently starring in along side Hugh Jackman, that Bond 23 will begin filming at the end of 2010. (via Commander Bond)

Dylan Baker, who played Dr.  Curt Conners in Spider-Man 2&3, has confirmed he is returning for Spider-Man 4. Whether or not his character will become the Lizard in the sequel is currently unknown.


Marc Guggenheim, executive producer and showrunner on FlashForward, is leaving the show. Guggenheim was brought in after the pilot to help David S. Goyer, writer of Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and FlashForward executive producer and showrunner, get the show running and was around for the first 12 episodes. Goyer is now the sole showrunner. Another DC guest star is appearing in the upcoming Justice Society two part episode of Smallville. Phil Morris will be reprising his role as the Martian Manhunter in “Society” and “Legends.” (via Entertainment Weekly)
