Gary Ross, who is currently writing Spider-Man 4, has been hired by Sony to write and possibly direct the Venom spin-off. (via Variety)

Epic Mickey, a new Disney platformer for the Wii  in which you play as Mickey Mouse and take on various obscure Disney characters who have taken over the Disney World, has been officially announced. (via Joystiq)

TECHNOLOGY NEWS

AT&T is now allowing iPhone voice over internet protocal (VoIP) apps to be used over their 3G network. The VoIP apps, like Skype, previously only able to be used over a Wi-Fi network. (via CNet)

doubleTwist has updated their media management program, also called doubleTwist, to include an iTunes Music store like service with the help of Amazon, who’s mp3 store is completely DRM free, so you can put it on any mp3 playing device. (via TechCrunch)
