The Pirate Bay has been bought for $7.8 million, no filter for the Chinese…yet, Superman and Batman are enemies of the public, Smallville forget about the tag, a new version of Firefox, and more in today’s geek news.

MOVIE NEWS

The next animated movie based on DC Comics characters, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, has been given the release date of September 29, 2009 and two pictures for the film have been released.(via MTV Splash Page)

Coming Soon has some spy pics of either the seventh or eighth Harry Potter film.

TELEVISION NEWS

Sci-Fi Wire talked to Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet on Heroes) about what season 4 holds for Claire.

Kryptonsite interviewed Bryan Q. Miller (writer on Smallville),during which he dropped this really vague hint about next Season’s fourth episode: “And she doesn’t notice the tag is still on the dress.”

COMIC BOOK NEWS

In that same interview on Kryptonsite, Bryan Q. Miller revealed what to expected from his current story arc on Teen Titans and his upcoming arc on Batgirl.

TECHNOLOGY NEWS
