Apple has confirmed that Steve Jobs, co-founder and former CEO of Apple, has died at age 56. More news follows, that just had to be said first.

Sony Pictures has brought various domains recently, including skyfall-themovie.net and jamesbond-skyfall.com, leading to spectulation that the next James Bond film may be named Skyfall. (via What Culture)

Disney is going to re-release “Beauty and the Beast” and “Finding Nemo” in 3D in 2012. “Monsters, Inc,” and “The Little Mermaid” will be released in 3D in 2013. (via Collider)

Matthew Vaughn, director of “X-Men: First Class” and “Kick-Ass,” has bought the film rights to Mark Millar and Leinil Yu’s Superior. (via Comic Book Movie)

 

TELEVISION NEWS

Jon Favreau, Roberto Orci, Seth Green and Michael Dougherty are developing Ex-Comm for ABC, who has given the show a pilot commitent.  The show is being described as a mix of “The X-Files” and “The West Wing.” (via Deadline)
